Eco

Eco is a platform for the professionalization and visibility of women in the arts and culture in Mexico, conceived in collaboration with AMMJE (Asociación Mexicana de Mujeres Jefas de Empresa), an organization that brings together women entrepreneurs to promote their development, leadership, and connection with various sectors. This project proposes to be a plural space where female creativity in disciplines such as art, design, literature, fashion, gastronomy, dance, and performance converges with cultural entrepreneurship, articulating dialogue, market, and training.

Eco redefines the color pink as a symbol of identity and collective strength, a tone historically stigmatized and tied to limitations, now reclaimed to amplify voices that have been silenced. From this perspective, the fair is structured in sections such as Proper, Messy, Oversize, Loud, and Transverse, each taking terms that have been used to label women and re-signifying them as emblems of power, visibility, and professionalization.

The project is conceived as a hybrid format that combines exhibition, sales, dialogue, and training. Its goal is not only to showcase artworks but also to generate connections between creators, institutions, audiences, and businesses, to build institutional and pedagogical networks that help reduce historical inequalities in the cultural field, and to position women at the center of the contemporary art market in Mexico.
